Lauenna Luddington

BACP accredited counsellor

About me

Based in Langport, I am a qualified counsellor with experience working with adults in NHS services and young people in education.

I have a constructive and practical approach where we work together to make the changes you want to see.

I am registered and accredited with the BACP which is a professional body, regulating counsellors and psychotherapists. This means that I follow their code of ethics and they can hold me accountable for my professional practise. Click on the logo below to see my entry on the BACP register.

I completed an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling at Iron Mill College in Exeter and followed this with a Professional Certificate in Adolescent Counselling  from Monash University in Australia.

During my training I undertook three counselling placements. The first was at SWEDA, a charity that supports people affected by eating disorders. The second was at Mangotsfield Secondary School, counselling 11-16 year olds. The most recent was with Oasis-Talk, a company which provides psychological services for the NHS. Here I provided counselling to adults who had been referred through their GPs. I currently work part-time at a school in Dorset.

I undertake regular supervision and continuing professional development. These are some of the short courses and workshops I have completed in the last few years.
